Six Common Problems In The PVC Foam Board Manufacturing Process, Causes And Solutions

1. Why The PVC foam board is yellowed.

If the extrusion temperature is too high or the stability is insufficient, the solution is to reduce the processing temperature. If it is not improved, the formula can be adjusted, and the stabilizer and lubricant can be added appropriately, which can be changed one by one.

2. Why Yellowing in the middle of PVC foam board.

The main reason is that the temperature at the core of the material barrel is related to the high temperature of the mould, and the amount of lubricant is also related to it.

3. Bending the plate surface.

Uneven material flow or poor cooling, the factors causing uneven material flow generally include large traction fluctuation or unbalanced internal and external lubrication in the formula. The factors of the machine can be easily eliminated.

Foam holes or layer of bubbles appear on the cross-section surface. 

The reasons can be summarized as one point, that is, the melt strength is not enough, and the reasons for the melt strength are: 1. The foaming agent is too much, or the foaming regulator is not enough, or the ratio of the two is not in harmony, or the quality of the foaming regulator is not good;

4.Uneven surface thickness.

If the flow rate is too high, the flow resistance rod can be adjusted. The formula can be adjusted

5. Changes in thickness and thin lines of sheet materials that are easy to appear during the handover.
